How important are power cables and power filters?

OMG, I just clicked on the link and even though it's not in English (is it in German?) it looks like it's $422 for the power filter you're considering--ouch! Way too much!!! I hope it's Wattgate (381 Audio Grade Duplex Socket) compatible......:doh:

Yes I bought it, but not for 422 euros, I payed only 152 euro (ebay bidding)
When I get the right cables, you will hear the results.
